Originally hailing from Wellington, New Zealand – Briton gained a BA in Design Theory and a BCom in Marketing and Economics
at the University of Otago in 2006 before heading across the ditch to Sydney.
There he met James – the other director of OMSE – and worked for Fuzzy creating the branding for a number of prominent music festivals and brands across Australia. Briton then moved to the renown international brand consultancy Interbrand, helping to build many of Australia’s best known brands including Australia Post, Telstra, Griffin Theatre Company, Argyle Pink Diamonds and Ausenco.
In 2014 Briton relocated to the northern hemisphere to work for the integrated branding
agency Ragged Edge in London. There he worked on a broad range
of design branding projects for clients such as
Briton maintains a focus on typography and has designed a number of typefaces used in his branding and personal work. As a co-director of OMSE he is jointly responsible for the creative direction and business management.
